Construction Industry is a sector of national economy engaged in preparation of land and construction, erection, alteration and repair of buildings, structures, and other real property or infrastructure or industrial. It starts with planning, design, financing and continues until project is ready for use.

Construction as a key economic sector contributes over 3,7% to the country’s GDP, with a value of approximately R106Billion as at 2015 Statistical Information. The value that can be extracted from the Construction Industry in General, and in particular, Government spending in construction is favorable because of general proximity to the construction sites, as it usually happens in the spaces and areas where the majority of young people live.
